These classes will be part of a 4 week course that repeats itself every month. Each week we will cover the basics of Yoga Flow. We will look at individual postures - breaking down the alignment, gaining a felt sense of the shapes and highlighting the importance of the transitions. We'll talk about the need to ground even as we expand, noticing the ego's involvement, the importance of setting an intention and adopting a good attitude. We'll practice breath work, pranayama techniques that take us out of our head and into our body, calm the nervous system and keeps us anchored in present time and we will take time for meditation, a little philosophy and how all of this fits together to create the beautiful practice of Yoga. These classes are suitable for anyone who is new to yoga or who wants to begin their practice again. They can be taken as a one off class, a block of 4 or, in order to get really familiar and to gain so much more from the practice, as a regular class.
